Unstable
The app is extremely unstable. One minute it’s working fine, the next minute there is distortion. It’s upsetting as I have in app purchases and feel like I’ve just wasted my money
Does not work well with irig stomp i/o
I love this app and I have been using it for many years now but for some reason running it on my iPhone does not work well with irig stomp i/o. I have no problem using it on my pc running AmpliTube 4 but running ut on my iPhone the switches are non responding please solve this issue.
New update didn’t do it for me
This latest update just messed up my guitar playing experience. Firstly I see the ampeg range has now been renamed the SVX range or something along those lines, which is fine since it looks like the same amps, but unfortunately my old profiles with the settings for those amps have now been lost. Meaning I have to now spend time trying to remember what they were and try dial it back in instead of practicing. Also a few of the amps now come with with an ear deafening screech when you choose them (slash af100 and JH dual amongst others). I assume it can be sorted out with some tweaking of the settings, but this was never the case before this latest update. So more time fooling around and less time playing and practicing. I guess there’s no way of resetting the app to one of the previous versions? Anyway enough time venting on this matter. Time to get on with it.

Don’t buy IK
An app that comes with $150 piece of hardware should come with free basic software.
Good Tone, Weird Licensing
The Good: - Tone is top-notch - Good selection of models - CPU-efficient The Bad: - Is not at feature parity with the VST version. Where’d all the reverb, delay, and other modules go for post-effects? Where’s the room mics? The DI? That’s some of the best parts! - Crashes inexplicably. I’m not sure it’s reliable enough for stage work. The Ugly: - I was really confused by the licensing. I own MAX, should I have to buy the paid iOS app? Or can I just get CS and it will unlock everything? - Support. IK Multimedia support is very slow to respond, if at all. When they do… it’s like they’re just trying to get the ticket closed and not actually help you.
Wont unlock purchased upgrade
Wont unlock version that came with i rig hdx . Tried everything and cant contact a person to help , tried calling and tech service wont take calls . Makes me want to return my irig and go with scarlet
Purchases go away
I bought the full version that includes all amps, which I believe costs $150. After a while it stopped working and IK Multimedia had me re-upload the app. After that my purchase of the complete version was not recognized and I could not access all amps. IK support told me to re-purchase and they would populate for free. A bit skeptical, I did not want to take a chance on losing another $150, so I tried to buy a “SVT pack” for $25; it did not repopulate but instead charged me another $25. Stay away from this app, unless you like to get ripped off AND have an app that does not work properly
