How to use the app:
1. Tap on desired unit for weight (pounds or kilos) and enter your weight in small box.
2. Tap on desired unit for height (inches or centimeters) and enter your height in small box. If you know your height in feet and inches, select inches and use 1 ft equals 12 inches. For example, if your height is 5 ft and 7 inches, you would enter (5 x 12) inches + 7 inches, which is 67 inches.
3. Hit the return key and tap the "show BMI" button. The app will show BMI value, category and Alexander's reaction.
About the app:
The app accepts weight input in kilos or pounds and height input in inches or centimeters (cms). You can choose the imperial system (weight in pounds, height in inches) or the metric system (weight in kilos, height in cm). You can also use mixed system inputs, for example, weight in kilos and height in inches. Mixed system is still in use in many places, for example, parts of Great Britain, such as, England and Scotland and also in Canada, Ireland, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand and several other Commonwealth countries. The default is pounds for weight and inches for height.

Being overweight or obese is considered a risk factor for many diseases, such as, diabetes, stroke, heart disease and high blood pressure. Conversely, being underweight can be a sign of an underlying medical condition or eating disorder, such as, anorexia and bulimia. This app shows your weight category and BMI for easy weight monitoring. It also provides an entertaining way to achieve and maintain a healthy weight and BMI with help from the wonderful dog Alexander.
The app contains 8 categories ranging from "Very severely underweight" to "Very severely obese" and Alexander's reaction for each category. Alexander is a great motivator to help you achieve your weight loss goals and maintain a healthy weight and BMI.
