A very promising RSS reader
This is a very promising free RSS reader. The biggest positives is the built-in iCloud sync (no need for third party syncing services is a plus in my book) and how simple and lightweight it is. However, there are some very important features that are missing, hence the somewhat lower rating: 1) Marking articles as read is a two-tap process. It really should be just one button 2) While you can organize feeds into folders, you cannot view all news from these folders. For example, I have a “hobbies” folder and a “work” folder, each with multiple feeds, but I cannot view all “hobbies” or “work” feeds. I can view all work+hobbies news mixed, or each of the individual feeds within the folders separately. 3) While you can mark news as read, there is no easy way for filtering read items out of your feeds’ view. 4) I am missing a “mark above/below items as read” function for when I want to mark only a part of the newsfeed as read. UPDATE: Adding a fourth star for developer’s quick response and enthusiasm. The way things are going, the fifth star (and more financial support) will be going toward this app soon! 😉
