Compatibility Issues
Prompted by AppStore I have updated the full paid version of this software from version 1.4.9 to the latest 1.7.1 Since the update, the app will not work on my Mac. Upon the launch the screen goes black but the app will not load. I have done the usual trouble shooting, including deleting the app, re-downloading from the app store and re-installing. No luck. The support team made a few suggestions how to fix this but none worked. Also, it uses so much resources in this frozen state that just to swich to another application, it takes 45 seconds to complete the Command Tab request. Luckily enough I had a backup of my startup drive and a simple drag and drop from one Applications folder to the other worked. The old app, version 1.4.9 works as it should. It reverted to the free version but had no difficulty restoring the purchases and is fully operational. I asked the support team to notify me by an email when the issue is fixed. For me personally, the AppStore update does not work. Hopefully they will do so as I love the app and use it a lot. ;–)) When the app works, it is 5 star.
