hi, thank you, I downloaded this a few hours ago so am just looking atm. I am completely fascinated. I am using iPad Pro 12” the graphics are totally incredible. The animations showing How, origin, insertion..bones, veinous system …..everything!
That’s as far as I have got so far . I wanted to leave an instant reaction . I’m guessing that it gets better when I can get Pro .
Now I shall look at who designed this incredible app 👍
Good app, but room for improvement
I like the visibility of all the muscles and organs and the naming of everything, as well as the animations of how certain muscles and joints move. Like the quizzes, but would like to see all the labels able to be visible at the same time to assist with identification in the learning stages.
I think it would be great (and important educational for the kids) to see more though regarding the movement of organs (heart pumping in various rhythms, lungs inflating, peristalsis movements, etc).
It may also be good to see more regarding how different elements interact with other elements of the body (when a bursa is inflamed, how this might impinge that joints movement).
I understand this isn’t a replacement for proper medical training, but it’s very useful to know how your body is supposed to move and act, and knowing this can assist with getting those physio exercises done right.
Hands Down Best Anatomy App
I was a bit hesitant choosing between this app and the anatomy apps from more established brands (Elsevier, etc). I wanted the best anatomy app that allowed me to rotate, zoom and interchange or eliminate different anatomical structures to get a sense of each system and this app did it all and more.
The one off price of $25.99 AUD was great value compared to other apps selling for $89.99+.
Best features are the “hide structure” feature so you can see what is behind a huge muscle or colouring in a specific structure to highlight it.
The quizzes aren’t the best but they’re still pretty good. I find them to be not the most ergonomic but they’re still helpful.
The muscle summaries/overviews are THE BEST as well as the animated videos for actions. Adding summaries to the nerves and vessels would be great as well.
Amazing
This app is worth every penny and I highly recommend it for any human on this planet who is even the slightest bit interested in the human anatomy.
