Needs improvement with streaming over cellular service Streaming from within the app, when switching from cellular to Wi-Fi, it cancels the playback Cannot listen to podcasts or music while using navigation app As issues with streaming in the background only seems to work well if the app is open and running on screen once the phone goes to sleep, buffering issues and streaming issues immediately happened Streaming still doesn’t work even when the app is open and running and phone not asleep. Using iPhone 13 mini. Please address streaming issues. I want to use this app regularly but I can not until streaming quality improves.

I really like AFR, so I’m hoping I can come back and change my rating. I really do enjoy their content, especially podcasts. There is an app for AFR on the Apple TV App Store, but since the “current version” 1.5.1 states “What’s New” is support for tvOS 14 and since tvOS’s current version is 17.6, it would appear AFR has not updated this app in quite some time. Uninstall/reinstall did not resolve this issue. I do hope someone over at Ancient Faith Radio is paying attention to this.

I did not realize that Ancient Faith Radio had kicked off previous clergy who were not “towing the line.” It really bothers me that talented clergy who have spiritual gifts are being censored. I found a much better Orthodox app that I will be using instead. Shame on Ancient Faith for choosing to keep truth away from the faithful.

Many blessings from the podcast although it crashes a lot unlike the previous app which worked a lot better. Wish we got it back

I agree with others, they are slipping in CRT topics. Shame for slavery, shame for color, shame for more diversity despite tower of babel separation of people.

App stability terrible. Constantly stops playing. Freezes, have to close and re-open. Needs serious bug fixes, frustrating!

Love the content but when I try to create an account and press register it seems like no event gets triggered and I just perpetually sit on the page.

As a new listener, I was excited to check out the app. While I can listen and navigate easily enough, I cannot register for an account. After going through fields to register, hitting the register button results in a spinning wheel, and then the button being grey without any kind of pop up or warning text to confirm anything happened. Based on the instructional video from the website, an email should have arrived, none ever did. I also tried simply logging in after hitting the button, to no avail. I also tried to recover my password, in the event that I somehow did register, and that results in a pop up saying “we are unable to reset your password, check to see if your email is correct”. I use AFR every single day. I love their wide library of podcasts and how I can find a resource on every subject I need. The app does need some updating. It will go through periods where it takes forever to load or won’t play anything, even with full reception.

I find the app to be very slow at times and cumbersome. Many times a podcast will indefinitely load and I have to restart the app. I have difficulty getting it to work consistently (iPhone 13, iOS 17) and I would love for it to be smoother, faster and snappier. Integration with the desktop AFR website is sorely needed. To be able to save or bookmark from the website and have it saved in the app, be able to have progress on one device be accessed on the other would be great.
