Needs to add a number pros can call for help

This company takes away the money they pay you and they let their customers scam them. They believe whatever they say

The app is very poorly developed, with numerous bugs and non-working features. It constantly crashes. The chat with clients is inconvenient, and the chat with support is even worse. Moreover, Angi does not respect you as a professional. For them, clients are more important so they can make money off them—and off you! The functionality for professionals is extremely limited! As for the work, guys, do not work with Angi. They assign you jobs for very low pay. For example, if furniture assembly costs the client $120 on their website or partner sites, Angi will pay you only $40. That means Angi keeps more than 50% of your money. It’s unfair and a scam! The support team is incompetent. They cannot help you with anything and always claim they don’t know anything. To request additional time, you have to answer countless questions and repeat yourself over and over—why, how, when, what for, and why you need the extra time! Their response is always: “We can’t help you!” Another huge issue is the constant misinformation about the distance to clients. When they offer you a job, the app might say the client is 9 miles away. But after you accept the job, it turns out—according to Google Maps—that you actually have to drive 32 miles! This is blatant deception! This is the most inconvenient and worst app for professionals! Avoid it at all costs.

You’ll get random fees because most of these customers are liars and shady, Angie will never stick up for you and you will definitely have a fee by tonight. If you can take all your customers away from them or don’t allow them to pay thru the app. One of my accounts is negative 15k because everyone pays me straight up and Angie reports it as a no show, this app is grade A GARBAGE

I spent hours applying and then days waiting for background check, just to be told they don’t accept any more pros in my area

Who ever estimates the gigs , has to do better .

They do not abide by their service agreement. They will cheat you out of money on a consistent basis. They grossly underpay for 80% of the jobs on the platform.

Clunky app with lots of bugs. The number of jobs I’ve completed in one place on the app never matches up with the number of jobs I’ve completed represented elsewhere in the app. The developers need to do a lot of work to make it smoother to use for the Pros using this app.

I worked for Angie’s for a couple years. I was on a job and and this helper showed up. I started talking to him and he’s from Arkansas. So I ask why are you in Missouri working. He later told me it’s because he was arrested in the late 80s for kidnapping and raping a 7 year old girl. He served his time and is now out was having a hard time getting a job. And filled out an application with Angies. He was declined, but they let him know that if you fill an application out in a state where you have not committed a crime you get to work for them so he filled out an application in Missouri because he’s kidnapping and rape charges are in Arkansas. I was floored. The lady had two little kids in the house. I will never do work for Angies again. This is the people you’re allowing to come in your house rapist. I have his name and I also videoed the conversation if anybody wants it.
