OK now I’m super confused. Am I supposed to play the paid version? Am I not allowed to play the original what’s going on here? I really don’t understand.

Fulfill animal requests and watch your friendship with them grow! Once you become close enough friends, you can invite them to your campsite. The more the merrier!
Design a show-stopping campsite, invite your favorite animals, and take an in-game photo to show your friends. If your friends like what you've done, they may even give you kudos!

the transfer of a free app that has been around for years to a new paid app (not to mention being $10, which feels steep for a pocket edition game that i’m sure has further purchasing options) is such a money grab. celebrating 7 great years & your gift to us is charging us ❤️ recently redownloaded without realizing there even was a paid version, and was very disappointed to see my only available option was to transfer my old data to a game for $10. very unfortunate & can’t say i’ll consider giving you guys the money for a new app.
