Description
Gallagher Animal Data Transfer has been developed to interface to the Gallagher HR4 & HR5 hand held EID tag readers and TSi2 Livestock Manager via WiFi. The application allows the user to extract session files and attach them to an email, in order to send the data to a PC without the need to connect the reader directly to the PC.
The application also allows the user to easily send selected animal data directly to the NAIT (NZ) or NLIS (Australia) national traceability schemes. Sessions can be renamed and their contents viewed once on the phone for greater flexibility while on the go.

This app is absolute rubbish
Along with the HR5 tag reader. Do not waste your time with Gallagher. the price tag is huge and the performance is miserable.
Absolute joke of an app
So glitchy it’s crazy. App constantly tells me that wifi is not enabled (which it is). Constantly have to disconnect and re connect our HR5 until it works. For a product that costs over 2k you think you could get your act together and make an app that works seamlessly. It’s really not hard...
Unfortunately disappointed
Won’t connect to the scales, have tried many times
Disappointed
Cannot get the new HR5 to see my phone to connect to it via the app. I had great plans for all the great things I was going to do with the herd using the Gallagher products we bought. I have been very disappointed.
Data Trasnsfer
Works perfectly with a TWR-5. Brilliant for a Mac user who can’t run the Gallagher software.
Does not work
Both this app and the animal dashboard app fail to connect with a tsi2 device. Excellent idea, it just has to be made to actually work.
