Annual Leave helps you to plan, track and overview your leave. The app contains the public holidays of the United Kingdom to make planning even more easy. No longer miss a long weekend!

Features:
- add a leave entry with title and location for every holiday
- specify a start date and end date, or a start date and the desired duration in days or weeks
- the app calculates the needed leave days in consideration of the public holidays for you
- you can manually change the calculated leave days, or transfer some of them to flex days
- if you like, the app automatically creates iOS calendar events for your leave entries
- not taken residual leave can be automatically transferred into the next year
- all data will be synchronised with all your iOS devices via iCloud
Additional features:
- use the filter in the leave list to show all public holidays, additional days off, and bridge days. You can also quickly switch to the calendar of the app or take over these days as leave days
- use the two categories planned and approved for your leave entries
- send an application for leave by email
- use reminders to get notified about your leaves
- add notes to your leave entries
- use the undo function while editing a leave entry (shake the iPhone)
- use a swipe gesture on the titlebar to navigate back to the beginning of the navigation
- use a swipe gesture on the overview as well as the month in the calendar to quickly browse between the years and months respectively

Application settings:
- specify the number of leave days available for every year
- configure leave years in case your leave is not managed in calendar years
- configure residual leave for every year independently: turn it off, let the transferred days expire on a certain date, or don't let them expire
- deactivate the usage of flex days and categories if you do not need them
- choose your country in order to see the right public holidays
- specify the weekdays the app should count as days off
- choose additional days off which are handled as usual public holidays
- specify for the public holidays and additional days off whether they take a whole day or a half day or have no duration at all
- choose whether you want to track your leave in days or hours
- choose customised colors for the leave entries, public holidays and additional days off
- configure the appearance of the leave entries in the calendar of the app: either display small markers or show them consistently colored
- customise the appearance of the app by choosing background images with adapted color schemata
- select the iOS calendar in which calendar events should be created
- specify whether you want to get reminded of your leave

Good little App for keeping track of leave especially for me as a shift worker.
Not very flexible
Thought this was going to help track part time hours Only works for holiday period calendar year not April to April Though would track bank holidays etc
Useless
Not impressed. When I open the app it opens fine but as soon as go in to enter my leave entitlement it just closes again. Useless
Great but
It would be really good to be able to mark school holidays without it adding to the holiday count.
Bank holidays missing
Just paid for this app and although it looks good both uk bank holidays are missing for August which make the totals incorrect and pointless having the app if I need to work it out myself. I’ll be looking for my money back
Simple and reliable
This application has been with me for 5 years. It is so simple and reliable that once setup you can forget about it. At the beginning I had a bit of difficulty with the configuration and I got in touch with the developer; he helped me step by step to solve all doubts. That left me with a very good impression!
Best of the bunch
I have given this app 4 stars because it can work out my holiday in hours, which is how my company works it. The only problem is that it defaults to an 8 hour day. When the developer enables me to edit the length of the day, it will get the fifth star as this is the only issue that I can find with the app. UPDATE: Now gets five stars as the developer has made the day length adjustable.
Good but short of brilliant
U.K. review:- Have a small problem with Jan 2nd and Easter Monday not showing as Bank holidays. Which is annoying because I then record it as false leave with 0.0 impact. As an improvement it would be handy to show school holidays then we can assess childcare issues and update calendar where child(ren) are for each day that I haven't planned leave.

Pleased to have discovered this little gem, very useful! Would love to see an overview of the year in calendar view, as I like to see at a glance what holiday is already planned and plot where I might like to book time off later in the year. This additional feature would make a great app brilliant & worthy of 5* for me!!
