Antenna Finder FAQ
Is Antenna Finder free?
Yes, Antenna Finder is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Antenna Finder legit?
✅ The Antenna Finder app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
The app works great & can use your GPS position or a postcode. My postcode search initially didn’t work because my iPhone was set to English>US English language. The developer quickly responded & once I’d changed language to UK English the post code searches matched the GPS searches. I am in the UK.
Good app & good genuine human support.
Simple but Effective
Great little app. At first the compass was 180 degrees out. This may be due to case magnet. Close app and power off phone. Remove case and power up again and open app.
Should be accurate north.
Hopeless
Very poor app, not even worth the 0.99p. Changes the location of the transmitter every time you go back in to it.
Easy Peasy
Brilliant, easy and has saved me all sorts of motorhome headaches. Don’t hesitate to pay for this…you won’t regret it. Thank you for a great, simple app that works.
You may only use it once
But it’s worth 99p - for some insane reason, my rented house has no TV aerial, just an ancient satellite dish. So I bought the cheapest, 90s style aerial I could find and plugged it in an ageing TalkTalk box, end suffered corrupted signal for 6 month.
In a fit of rage, I searched the App Store for a solution and was slightly annoyed there was nothing free and took a punt on this app from the reviews.
Well, in about 30 seconds, I have the aerial pointing in the correct direction and like a 100 channels. Worth every penny and probably more. It’s so good, this is the first real review I’ve ever bothered to write.
TL:DR App works good - TV happy 🫡🫡
Does what you want it to
I’ve only used the app once, it worked and it was easy to use, it gives a choice of transmitters, you move the compass and follow the beeps until you get optimal direction
Superb little app
This is an absolutely brilliant little app works perfectly and we’ve used it every time we go away.
Problem with antenna direction using App
Used the App successfully to locate Rowridge VP antenna on 18/6/24 but on rechecking signal on 19/6/24 the App showed a completely different and obviously incorrect direction. Contacted App administrator but no reply so unfortunately conclusion is App not fit for purpose .
Effectively is the same as the compass App
I thought there would be something else to this app but essentially it is the same as the compass app. If you google the local transmitters it will give you a bearing (for me 212 degrees). I tried that first and then thought this would offer more but it doesn’t. Don’t bother if you know the bearing of the nearest transmitter.
Great little app for a caravan.
Great little app for a caravan, even lets you know if Ariel should be horizontal or vertical. We use it in a caravan.
