How can you sell $ 2000 receivers and not update the apps proactively. After updating to IOS14 the app won’t find my receiver anymore. Its totally usuless now. Its a deja vu to when IOS13 came through - when it took Anthem 3 months to update this app. I’ll go for the Denon next time.
None of the Remote Apps of anthem will find the MRX720, whereas playing music through Spotify connect or Play-Fi goes without trouble.

I updated the anthem mrx 720 to the newest update. The app shows only “searching”. I don’t know what is wrong, what can I do?
The app does t find my mrx 510. It worked for a week but doesnt anymore. Reinstall of app doesn’t help.
Yes this update works very good for me! Is it possible to ad direct acces to lip-sync and feedback to my iphone, like radio-freq and lip-sync. I think, that will be very usefull If yes, that will be great. Thanks for this update gays
No replacement for the old app. Just volume controll. Also there is an audio drop-out on the amp (mrx510) when the app connects. Also the treble, bass and sub level settings get reset to 0! You can do better! Version 3.0.2 never finds the amp. 3.0.1 also didn’t. Any tips? Version 3.0.2 is a big step forward. (After a powercycle of the amp the app connected. )
I have the same frustration, I have the Mrx310. Same issues as the other reviewer. I bought the Anthem receiver with for me the important reason, sound quality and the most important reason the app functions. In my opinion is this app useless, because I lose constantly the settings like bass, treble level calibration of subwoofer. Important to know for app development. When receiver is on with zone 2 and your is iPhone locked, so you unlock your iPhone and you startup the app again then put the receiver zone 2 to off state. Very ignoring. So you need to startup zone 2 again and your volume is back to default. Other issue is the app lose often the connection with the receiver and will hang in search mode, but can’t connect to receiver. I hope soon on solutions for this issues. Best regards Glenn.
