Antigrams is a word game where the goal is to NOT make words.
“Surprisingly fun.” -Bennett Foddy, creator of QWOP
Move letters from the top of the stacks to fill the slots below. Be careful - any combination of 4 or more letters that can be arranged to form a word will bust you and add more letters to the grid. When the grid goes off the top of the screen you lose.
Features:
- Unique, brain-twisting gameplay
- Endless, randomized levels
- Global and friend-based leaderboards
- Single-player ranking system to track your progress
- Dozens of special slots and tiles
- Original soundtrack from club legends Everybody House Mafia

Antigrams FAQ
Is Antigrams free?
Yes, Antigrams is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Antigrams legit?
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.
What a clever idea here! It’s a refreshing twist on the genre. It’s challenging, but not frustrating. I find it more enjoyable and relaxing than other word games I’ve played.
I do wish it saved progress mid-game if you have to quit during a long run, but it’s still fun regardless. I really appreciate the fair premium price with no ads or IAP, and it’s good on battery and storage, and the privacy policy is good too. Even though it could maybe use an update for larger screens, and to allow saving, it’s still good as is.
Thank you for a good game!
Great word game!
I love this game- I think the idea is clever and creative, and I can play for literal hours at a time. The only issue I have is that sometimes I get “busted” for words that... The game doesn’t even have definitions for- my most recent example is VITA- i have no clue what that means, and clearly neither does the game! I don’t know what kind of dictionary is being used, but there’s not really the option to check or change that yet. I’ve also noticed some spellings to be decidedly British English, and as an American player, it gets a little confusing, and frustrating getting busted for a word that to me isn’t really a word.
All in all, AWESOME game, definitely worth the low price! I’d love to see some dictionary differences for sure, though.
Fantastic but...
I love this game, I've been playing it for awhile now and I realized something odd, when spell a word, when you click definition, it shows the word on top but no definition. Please fix and I'll give this game the best 5 star review you've ever seen.
Cool word game!
A neat twist on the word game. Now that I'm a big boy in the big city I can get some of the same feelings again I had playing GHOST with my dad!
super clever twist on word games
This game is keeping me up at night!! Love words games of all shapes and sizes but never played one where you are avoiding making words....UNTIL NOW. 👍🏼🤘🏼
Challenging puzzle game from the designer of Drop7
Despite being an entirely different game, Antigrams *feels* like Drop7. The simplicity of the mechanic and its UI belies something deeper -- a devilish, challenging, and thought-provoking inversion of our expectations of word games. Here, the vastness of the English language works against you. Worth playing for lovers and haters of language alike.
Really nice little game
This game is more clever than it looks at first glance. It twists your brain to fit a challenge that isn't posed by any other word games. It also looks and sounds nice, and is just smartly done overall.
Preeeeetty dope.
Super clever and a ton of fun. Can't wait to add this my morning commute game rotation.
Woah
Call me crazy, but the soundtrack strikes me as pleasantly Kanaga-esque!
