The ANZAC Day 2020 mobile application will deliver and guide you through the Driveway at Dawn service this year. It contains either a live broadcast of the National Service from your own country or a pre-recorded short recitation of The Ode, The Last Post, a minute of silence and Reveille.
On April 25th, 2020 at 0530am (local time), the National Broadcast in Australia and New Zealand will commence. At this time, the candle within the application will light. At 0555am, you will be prompted to move to the driveway of your home, in preparation for the reading of The Ode, sounding of The Last Post, observance of a minute of silence and the sound of Reveille.
During this tradition, we ask that you show your respects to those who are serving, those who have served, those who have given their lives and for their families and descendants.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

App was early!
Used the app this morning for the service but it was early which meant we were standing at the end of our driveway with everything happening before 6am! Ruined the experience for us and probably our neighbours too!
Silent App
As it was time for the Anzac the app went silent. I had to use my radio on my phone to listen to it. It was a disaster!
Where is 2021 version
Don’t stop now. We in Timor used this app. Update it for this year.
Wouldn’t have bothered!
We all tried to do the right thing then on the morning I was fiddling around on my phone trying to get sound. I felt like an inconsiderate brat during the minutes silence. Disappointed. Luckily our neighbours had a radio they rushed to get and some locals played the Last Post.
Waste of my time
Wouldn’t connect to ABC radio for the dawn service, very disappointing, missed the last post had to switch to triple M app to here the remainder of dawn service
Sound issue
When we first got the app the sound wasn’t working for us, So we just tapped the candle tried everything we could. It wasn’t working at all the candle went out and everything, We deleted the app and got it back but the same thing happen so we went into the app double clicked home button went to a different app and then went back into Anzac Day 2020 app and it worked (IPHONE ONLY)

What a fantastic idea, and the app made it so easy. My daughter joined me, and a neighbour.
No sound.
Downloaded it a few days before Anzac, all good working great. Told people all about it. Then Anzac Day, had my candle lit. No sound, no ABC radio, nothing. Luckily my Dad had the good ol little radio. Really disappointed, because it sounded so great to be part of the driveway ceremony, and to have it nearly ruined was not nice.
