Better layout
Overall the app is good but the layout could be better, having a big empty white screen in the middle is useless. Expanding the top score line would help with readability. For 8 and 9 maybe put the selection of balls in that areas

Works the way it should. Must nicer than paper for sure. Really could use a landscape mode for some of the newer tablets.
However, a spectator capability would be nice. The scoring sheets had different “upcoming game” opponents for the same date.
We used it for the first time on January 3rd, 2024, and after getting through the initial start I found it pretty easy to use and score. We had two matches going and the only problem we ran into was when one match is in time-out you cannot go back to the other match to score. We had to have one of our other players open the app on his phone and take possession of the other match to score to solve the problem. As a retired computer technician I don’t see why this hasn’t been resolved yet since it was reported over 2 years ago. Let’s make this app perfect since all APA leagues are being forced to use it. Thank you.
I absolutely love this app. It’s so much easier then keeping score on paper. In fact I like it so much that I updated my iPad. 😄 That’s where the issue comes in. The app displays perfectly when in portrait view but when I turn the iPad to landscape view I can only see the bottom of the screen. The top half is blank. Once this issue is fixed the app will be perfect in my opinion. Great job on developing the app. 👍
I find the app easy to use and pretty intuitive. The only time you have to think is on 9-ball when the players decide to use other balls after an early 9. Would love to see a feature to keep track of fouls per player so teams can keep their scratch jars full😉
Crashes almost every night we use it for league. No matter what we always need the paper work either way
I have to admit that the app is easy to use. But it does not allow you to review any data on the individual matches as the game is being played. And after you submit your scores you no longer have access to any information about the match. I want more data than who won a match, how many individual games each player won and how many points were earned. I want to see how many innings there were in each game. I want to see how many defense shots there were. Eights on the break. Early 8. Scratch on 8. I want to see all of that data for each match. And we cannot. With the sheet system I would share this information with the team and we could refer to them whenever we can. And based on the layout of the app you can’t even take screen shots of all the information. It’s easy to use but isn’t plater useful in my opinion.
Wish you could still keep score if internet goes down or offline. Also wish you could mark scratch shots and ball in hands. Would help with ranking.
This app is great because we don’t have to do paper anymore and you can automatically send it. The one thing I would like to see changed is, that you can use it offline. We are in a rural area and don’t have access to the internet or Wi-Fi and the app lags forever. I would think you could be able to keep score and then at the end of the night, compare with opponent and make sure everything is ok and then connect to a network and submit it. Thank you!
