I’ve been following them for years. As teacher I’ve shared things with my math classes, whether they like it or not. Just became a lifetime member. Thanks
I will never understand why the persistence of changing a perfectly good web sight continues, this web sight was marvelous two changes ago, it becomes increasingly annoying and less attractive-change is not always needed
This used to be a great app. Then they changed it for no apparent reason. Now it’s garbage.
After all of the tweaks, I now can’t continue to use what was once my favorite app. The pictures don’t display correctly, they only show the center of the field of view. I could go on and on but, this was an app for viewing the awesome pictures of space, if it can’t do that………
Not available in landscape, they want money, can’t zoom in on pictures
All these marvelous things are traceable to the hand of a sovereign God
Ever since you tweaked this app it has changed fir the worst. Many photos are larger than space allows and now , today you repeated a recent image if the Crab Nebula. I’ve followed this app for many years but I’m losing interest. Too bad.
I’ve had this app on multiple devices for years. It always amazed me. The new update however is OUTSTANDING! We can now comment on this? It’s so wonderful!! I just wanna know if it is possible to change usernames and your pfp for the comments? Thank you for this app again!
I love APOD. I have loved it for years. But I cannot find the captions on this updated version. Swiping up doesn’t work, swiping down doesn’t work; there are no other icons that work; the only thing that does is going on nasa.gov, which only gives the caption for that day, and if I have to go elsewhere for the caption, why shouldn’t I just delete the app and go to NASA? I can’t always get to APOD every day; I like to take in several days’ images at one time. Please, please, tell me where you have hidden the captions, and why you updated your wonderful app without the slightest consideration for non-techies like me? Update: I got a speedy reply to this from the developer, calling the problem a “glitch” (which seems a bit of an understatement) and within a day or two the captions were there. Kudos. But I’m not adding a star, because how in the world could something like this happen? Someone was just asleep at the wheel.
