“佛學大辭典”是由近代無錫人丁福保先生轉譯日本真宗大谷派學僧織田得能著作“織田佛學大辭典”而成。
織田得能（1860〜1911）。福井縣人。號雲溪。十三歲出家。先後學習漢籍，及唯識，俱舍等諸宗經典。後得西本願寺島地默雷之知 ，乃起草'三國佛教史略'。明治二十一年（1888）前往泰國，視察南傳佛教，攜回貝風經典六十餘帙，佛像數尊。二十三年回國後即參與'東亞 佛教會'之創立計劃。翌年，入住東京宗恩寺，改舊姓'生田'為'織田'。三十三年前後遊學於中，印等地。
