行政長官會同行政會議批准市區、新界、大嶼山的士調整收費,落旗加2元,每次跳錶加1角至2角,7月14日生效。

調整後,市區的士落旗收費29元、新界的士25.5元、大嶼山的士24元。

以首段車程計,市區的士每跳2.1元,新界和大嶼山的士1.9元。以後段車程計,市區和新界的士每跳1.4元,大嶼山的士1.6元。等候時間收費會因落旗後跳錶收費提高而相應調整,其他附加收費維持不變。

市區、新界和大嶼山的士平均加幅分別為8.86%、9.56%、10.92%。

運輸及房屋局表示,政府審批是次加價申請時,已充分考慮市民的接受程度、的士營運成本的轉變、從業員的收入、的士與其他公共交通工具的收費差距等因素。

根據營運數據,在撇除通脹後,市區和新界的士租車司機去年每月平均淨收入較2019年的水平輕微上升,大嶼山的士的租車司機的每月平均淨收入則下跌。車主司機和出租車主去年每月平均淨收入也較2019年大幅下降。業界希望的士加價有助增加前線司機收入和吸引更多新人入行,同時鼓勵從業員改善服務和投資更多新設備,以提升整體服務質素,促進業界長遠健康發展。

局方又提到,運輸署上月12日發出的士車隊牌照的邀請,以期在今年年中公布申請結果。運輸署會要求的士車隊營辦商在獲批車隊牌照後不多於12個月內開始營運。
