남포교회에 방문하신 것을 진심으로 환영하며 기쁘게 생각합니다. 이 시대를 향한 남포교회의 사명은 성도들로 하여금 하나님의 사람으로 온전케 하는 것이라 봅니다. 하나님께서 기뻐하시고 원하시는 바는 성도들의 열심과 헌신(Doing)이라기보다 우선적으로 성도들의 됨됨이(Being)라 여겨집니다. 이를 위해 교회의 조직과 외형적인 성장이 아닌 성도들의 내면적 성숙에 초점을 맞추어 공동체를 세워가고 있습니다. 하나님께서 말씀을 통해 우리에게 뭔가 일할 것을 요구하시기보다 우리 자신을 목표로 원하신다는 사실을 증거하고 있습니다. 남포교회를 찾아오시는 모든 성도들 각자가 이것이 하나님의 소중한 목적인 것을 기억하시고 기쁨으로 신앙생활을 이어가시기를 원합니다.
