## Simple Design ##
Simply move and drag the map around and drop pins to start measuring the distance.

## Distance Tracking Mode ##
You can use your device's GPS feature to measure distance on the go by pressing timer button on the toolbar to begin the measurement.

## Supports of Multiple Unit Types ##
The app supports both metric and imperial system.

## Advanced Search Feature ##
In addition to the simple search tool, you can search by various formats of coordinates including MGRS, GARS, UTM, and many more. Searching by location is also available. You can input the location name or import the location from GPS tag within a photo.

## Import from Text File ##
You can import the coordinates list from a text file. Please check the instruction menu within the app, or our website for more information regarding this feature.

## Export and Edit ##
It is possible to export the list of coordinates in latitude and longitude values, plus the total distance, to email. You can also export the list as GPX file to email.

## Sharing ##
You can share the result on Twitter/Email, copy to the clipboard, and more.

"DistancePinner" is completely free to use with all features. You can subscribe to this application to remove ads.

Great app because u can hit the + at each turn to get a very accurate measurement.

Great App!

This app does exactly what I want and what it says. A few things for the developer to make it 5/5: - When trying to save an image, the app crashes. I have to text a pucture of it to myself to save - Have the ability to switch on/off the blue auto-locator, and the pinpoint vertical/horizontal lines - Have the ability to rename saved paths I still really like this and is very useful. I can live without a search area, but would definitely enjoy having it available.

Constant crashes

Crashes every time I try to export my map as an image. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my time since that’s how long it took for me to make my route on the map.

New update is HORRIBLE

New update had a poor layout. -why can't we turn off the dumb "auto locate" feature? -why can't we lock "north up" feature? Please have someone that actually uses this app do the next update. Can't wait to finish this review and then delete the app. Peace.

Useless

Only shows distance the way a crow flies. Doesn't show driving distance.

Adverts

Is there a paid version? Adverts are quite annoying.

Top Notch Tool

I use this all the time. Does what is says for a few puny ads. If you have seen my other reviews elsewhere, you know I don't give this praise easily.

Two Major Flaws

This app does what it says it will do. The two problems I found are 1) The only way to enter a position is to scroll the map. You can't enter coordinates nor can you search for a location by name. 2) You can't measure distances across the Pacific, such as between California and Japan, because you can't scroll the map much farther than Hawaii.

Great tool!!

I love this app and use it often. A great measuring tool. I use it to get a comparison of my local airstrip to one else where, where the landing area is not published by the FAA. I've used it to set boundaries for a search and rescue of our lost grandchild. Some of the other reviews i read are trying to use it like a map app. IT MEASURES STRAIGHT LINES OR MULTIPLE LINES! I love the undo more than the trash can (remove all) to only remove the last or last two or three pins to realign them or to hone in on the extract distance from start. Lots of uses as a measuring tool!
