Can watch live stream, but not motion sensor recordings.
After last update, I can’t link with camera when trying to open captured video or live action. Reloaded app several times etc. no voice, no live connection.
Really bad experience with my new video doorbell lock
IPhone and apple watch notification alerts show in Chinese instead of English also some information shows in Chinese instead of English. App doesn't show much basic function almost useless.
The company website is down and can’t connect with anyone regarding to tech issues.
After the APP update I’m unable to access the APP. Account sign up, sign in or password reset are not functioning.
Update 2022-1-13: Suddenly it started working today, including catching up on previously unreported PIR photos, etc. Update 2022-1-12: Today’s update did not fix it. Still cannot control the door camera. Update: The latest update seems to have broken it again. Now the app recognizes the door camera but the app cannot control it. Update: The network issue appears to be fixed. Update: Still not working. Now the app won’t connect to the door camera because it says that the network reports as “busy”, or it says that the network cannot be detected. Update: They just released an update that fixed the connection problem (below). Now they need to fix the exposure control: [System Settings:Camera Settings:Exposure: High/Low]. It should be dynamic. Or at least should have a third “Medium” level; but automatic (Dynamic) exposure would be best and is badly needed. Also, how do you use the intercom on the unit at the door? I can only use the intercom via my phone. Why should you need to use your phone when you’re standing right behind the door? And what if you don’t have a connected phone but need to intercom at the door with a stranger outside? How do you do it? They need to update to fix this. (Previously:) Exactly what Vern1271 said (and a little more): After the latest update, it just shows it’s offline and won’t connect. The unit itself is connected to my network and I can see it in my wi-fi router, but the app won’t connect to it. Worked fine before. I also tried deleting and rebinding the device, and tried turning off the 5 GHz band, but that didn’t work either. I can’t rebind the device now, even with a very strong wi-fi signal.
Almost every update to this software causes a problem. This time the App would not connect to device and showed it disconnecting. Restarted the device and made sure it was connected to WiFi. I removed and tried to re-add it in the app, but now it won't bind. Probably going to buy a Ring now. This thing has more problems than it's worth.
Dropped the device out of the blue. Now it won’t bind. The device is connected to WiFi but won’t connect to my phone. It times out. WiFi morning information is entered correctly.
