I’m not sure if it’s just the screens I bought or the app but this app does not work you have to update the screens that we just bought so that they can use the 4g feature however you must connect to wifi first so we connect it to wifi and now that we have connected it to wifi we can’t connect to the screen at all so we have 3 screens where we can’t change what they display work perfectly fine however can’t use them. So frustrating that almost $6,000 USD worth of screens can’t be used because of an app that doesn’t work…

We request you to please add a feature of offline publishing a solution, that will be a great help. I believe offline publishing is the only feature that is highly required, as of now we need to login on the web for offline publishing a solution. So please add this feature in the viplex App.

The Handy app is pretty cool when it works but there are a few issues with delays, glitching, and file management and uploading.

I can’t upload media without it corrupting, i am uploading from my phone, i have gotten 1 video to work but if i try anything else the screen becomes white and flashes green corruptions masking the video

The recent update to 5.0 removed the “screen configuration” function which allowed linking of multiple screens in custom configurations (using Ethernet). The new version has a simple “mosaic” function that I can’t get to work. The instructions imply only hdmi is supported and every screen has to be configured. That was not a limitation in 4.0. Please make 4.0 available as a app version downgrade until 5.0 is fully capable!

Last week the app went through an update, which is awful! The weather option does not show and the time stamp shows correct on my phone but not on the sign, so no longer can use those two options on our sign. Also, when I go to add text, before it worked perfect, now it’s either way too small or way too big and doesn’t fit the screen. I go in this morning to change some items on our sign and none of my solutions are showing. So I can’t even take off those expired events. This is an awful update and I hope they resolve the issues quickly!

No longer able to access gallery to publish to display after recent update

Most recent app update disables use. Unable to upload photos or any media. Makes the entire device unusable.

After a update I didn’t ask for this app is not working anymore

Viplex handy may not be super user friendly and may be sometimes a little janky, but it’s free and does the job. I have had few issues with maintaining and controlling my billboard networks playlist. For those doing this without an management company, this is an invaluable tool. I doubled the size of one of the boards and was able to reprogram the layout easily, though I did have to play with it a bit to figure out what was going on.
