Otaku Coin is an anime, manga, and game-oriented “community currency” that aims to bring more joy to people’s otaku life.
You can support the anime studios that make your favorite anime by sending them your supportive messages through the app. Messages from around the world will be made into posters and delivered directly to the anime studios by the Otaku Coin Association.
Your thoughts toward the creators who work their hardest on making anime will become their energy in the future while making their next anime. While you are lifting up the community by sharing your thoughts, Otaku Coins will be given as appreciation.

ついに本格化した感
立ち上げからインストールしてはいましたが、当時は各プロダクションさんへの応援メッセージを送れるだけ（コインはもらえましたが、その後の展開がない状態）で、掲げていた未来像までの道程が遠く感じられました。 2021年NFTブームの到来によって、協業先や開発会社などが整ったこともありましょうが、漸く事業展開が見えてきました。 2022年に期待しています。
今後に期待
毎日「オタクコイン」なる仮想通貨をもらうことができます。まだ出来ることは少ないようで、このオタクコインも一体どのように使うことが出来るのか分からないですが、今後どんなことが出来るようになるか楽しみです。
