週末又是一個好天氣，天高氣爽，微風習習。貝兒興致勃勃地去郊外踏青。突然，路邊草叢裡的一個白色的影子映入了貝兒的眼簾。走近一看，哇，好大的一個蛋啊！
“這是什麼呢？”貝兒上下打量這隻巨蛋，突然想起了附近正好有一家恐龍公園，“該不會是恐龍媽媽不小心丟失的吧？”想到這裡，貝兒的心裡突然湧出了一股神聖的使命感，“嗯，我要幫恐龍媽媽把蛋送回去，以免恐龍媽媽著急和小恐龍寶寶受到傷害！”
可是，這個蛋畢竟是太大太重了，貝兒抱著剛開始還能正常行走，可走了沒有一里路，就累得氣喘吁籲。太陽漸漸地升到了頭頂之上，散發出越來越熱的熱量，貝兒的遮陽帽都要被頭上的汗水打濕了，更不用提身上的汗衫和牛仔褲，穿著濕漉漉的衣服太難受了。趕往恐龍公園的路程似乎越來越遠，平坦的草地還好走，可是遇到泥濘的沼澤和硌腳的碎石路，貝兒就非常吃力了。貝兒越走越慢，差點累倒在地上。她不得不在路邊停下休息，腦海中的念頭不停地湧現“我走不動了，真走不動了，我還是趕緊回家找我的媽媽吧”……
心裡的信念正在動搖之時，貝兒想起了媽媽教育她要做個有責任心、有擔當的孩子，如果這點困難都克服不了，恐龍媽媽就可能再也見不到小寶寶，恐龍一家會多麼的悲傷啊！
想到這裡，貝兒又堅定地朝著恐龍公園中走去……
