Great game, but..
I love the game! It’s super addicting, the gameplay and mechanics are very challenging and fun but the energy costs are kind of what makes the game flop a little. You don’t get much energy per timed recharge considering how much energy the levels cost and it is too expensive/time consuming to recharge energy with gems/by watching ads. In my opinion, the game would be much much greater without the energy entirely, when considering how addictive I find it. The levels are also extremely challenging already from the first boss and onward (I’m currently stuck at level 3-7, where I have to survive for 30 rounds and considering how little gear I have at the moment, it really seems to be impossible without additional loot/“easier” mobs/no energy costs so continuous retries are possible) The game is holding itself back from becoming a much more efficient version of itself, since in-game purchases don’t seem to be worth it when you take these factors into consideration. Overall the game itself (meaning the gameplay and mechanics) is great, but the game as a whole is kind of a let-down. In my opinion, the developers either need to remove the energy completely, change the level-costs or make the enemies a tiny bit easier (at least for the first couple of chapters, since it is hard to get loot). Hope to see some major changes, this game has a massive potential.
