课程采用视频教学，加文字教学的方式，轻松有趣，简单易懂。每课提供文字讲义和参考答案，方便学生参考，并提供多种答案，方便学生从多个角度来考虑问题。
本课程由多年从事开发工作的工程师进行讲解，在课程中，融入多年的编程经验，并帮助学生在学习中，培养良好的编程习惯和意识。
课程使用的教学工具为苹果出品的 Swift Playgrounds App，它运行在 iPad 上，免费获取，是一款非常好的寓教于乐的学习工具，可以通过类似游戏闯关的模式，提高学习乐趣，在玩乐中，掌握基础概念，基本的语言知识。
学习的编程语言是 Swift，它是开发 iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch 上的 App 的主要语言。它现在 TIOBE 上的排名第九。
