本軟體開發之目的在透過產學合作方式，落實即時雷達監測技術於氣象服務。將專業氣象網頁的資訊，設計成方便行動裝置下載及使用之APP軟體，並透過行動裝置的定位系統增加手機推播提醒之功能。
本軟體為一項實驗性測試產品，整合全台雷達觀測資料，同時使用最新福衛七號衛星觀測資料，透過資料同化法及雷達回波外延方法，開發出即時雷達回波預警技術，可提供未來1小時之內降雨趨勢資訊。本產品僅為研究展示使用，實際天氣預報資訊請以氣象局公告為主。
「雷達回波外延法技術」由中央大學大氣科學系鍾高陞教授提供，其他共同合作單位為中央大學大氣科學系林沛練教授、台灣大學大氣科學系周仲島教授，資訊整合展示界面由國家災害防救科技中心開發，APP軟體由炘業科技股份有限公司製作。

用了很長的時間了，最近開啟雲圖出現的很慢，希望快點改善
國家防災科技中心就開發了這種東西？
預測功能根本無用，只能看到10分鐘前的雲圖，沒有誠意改善就趕快撤掉app，免得丟臉。
