Consumer Council - Oil Price Watch
“Oil Price Watch” is a personalised interactive application providing price information and relevant discount and promotional offers on auto-fuel in the Hong Kong market. It synchronizes with the updated information provided in the “Oil Price Watch” website of the Consumer Council, which facilitates consumers to make informed purchase decision.
“Oil Price Watch” serves below main functions:
(1)An at-a glance summary of the pump prices and the lowest walk-in discounted prices provides information to consumers in a prominent way on the landing page
(2)User-friendly weekly discount calendar provides the discount and promotional offers of the coming 7 days to facilitate consumers to make filling planning
(3)Calculation of limited petrol filling stations discounts and voucher promotions facilitates a more comprehensive and cost-saving budget for consumers
(4)Push notification to notify users on auto-fuel price changes
(5)Petrol filling stations search, together with location function, provide consumers locations and details of nearby petrol filling stations; “show direction” helps users plan the route
(6)District and oil company filter, and keyword search of petrol filling station functions allow personalised search more effective and convenient
