I have been hacked by Chinese hackers of this app and company; I even tried to contact the police, but the police think it’s funny. The Chinese version, Douyin from mainland China, makes this kind of sick joke to blackmail people. There is nothing you can’t do, because they are a rich company, so nobody will care about your feelings, personal safety, or freedom. I am sure the global version of TikTok does the same, but this is a trend, and people think it’s cool. Literally, you are giving all your information to these developers.
