1. 本應用程式為提高非華語學童的中國語文水平而設計，編寫時參考了《中國語文課程補充指引（非華語學生）》（2008）、「中國語文課程第二語言學習架構」（2014）等文件，切合高小至初中非華語學童的學習需要。
2. 本應用程式提供大量閱讀篇章，配以互動、有趣的學習活動，幫助學生提高閱讀能力。
3. 閱讀篇章取材自《明報》新聞報道，內容與學生的生活息息相關，讓學生通過時事新聞學習語文，豐富實用詞彙，務求讓學生能夠學以致用，並打破語言文化障礙，融入社會。
4. 學習內容分初階、進階和高階三個程度，各設50篇文章，由淺至深地編排，導師可按學生的能力選用。
5. 篇章備有廣東話錄音，重點詞語提供英語、烏都語、印地語及尼泊爾語翻譯，協助學生理解文章內容；篇章的每個字都能顯示部首、劃數、筆順動畫、字形尺及系統讀音。所有學習活動能夠儲存答案，並即時給予回饋，幫助學生了解自己的學習表現。
