《無量壽經優婆提舍願生偈》，又稱爲《往生淨土論》、簡稱《往生論》或《淨士論》。乃天親菩薩〔佛滅後九百年頃，出生北印度健陀羅國之富婁沙富羅城，婆羅門種族之家〕修學淨土法門的心得著述。
《往生論注》凝聚了自馬鳴、龍樹、天親菩薩以來，古印度純正的淨土教理。然後融入中國的本土文化，對于淨土法門不可思議的事理、因果、性相，與佛境界的狀態，和盤托出，是壹部奠定後世淨宗脈流的巨作。昙鸾門下出道綽大師，壹生講淨土三經近兩百遍。道綽門下出善導大師，被後人尊爲淨宗二祖。中國淨土宗祖庭，廬山東林寺，大安法師，2005年于東林寺淨土宗研究生班，講解此論注。
