国家数字图书馆应用程序以服务和资源为主线，不断引入新技术为不同类型的读者提供到馆服务、在线业务办理及在线资源阅读功能。
一、智能化服务
实现阅览室的扫码入馆、扫码借书；实现文津搜索系统、云门户、公开课系统的扫码授权登录。探索发现全国公共图书馆，提供实体馆藏及国家数字图书馆电子资源的统一检索、展示及导航服务。
二、简化注册登录
提供手机号快速注册、电子读者卡的在线办理以及手机验证码登录，微信、QQ和微博的第三方登录功能。
三、强大的检索功能
包括馆藏书目检索（OPAC）、电子资源检索和站内检索。馆藏资源检索能够检索国家图书馆纸质图书的馆藏信息，并支持图书预约；电子资源检索实现本应用内各种类型的电子资源统一检索。
四、资源阅读
可在线阅读10万余册中文图书，千余种有声、视频、公开课资源及多种数据库资源。提供以大数据分析为支撑的用户个人画像及个性化资源推荐，还可通过专题形式欣赏工作人员精心策划的阅读内容。
五、书架
图书、听书、视频等电子资源可加入书架统一管理。
六、个人中心
提供读者预约信息、借阅信息、外借权限、滞纳金等个人信息的查询及欠费支付。
七、信息资讯
发布国家图书馆新闻、公告、讲座预告；每日9点推送一条文津经典诵读的诗词名句。
