唐山港作为北方重要港口，其每年的货物吞吐量超过两亿吨，货物运输更是其主要业务。为了方便相关客户，尤其是货主及车主，现开发港通天下APP，该APP主要实现港口货源及车源的自主发布，增强信息公开及对称性，方便货主及车主的业务联系。并且该APP为客户提供了在线查询港内信息及处理车辆进港续费等问题，方便客户使用，提高客户集疏港效率。
唐山港独幽城收费站现有双向四车道的集疏运专用通道，目前为唐山港所管理。集疏港的车辆在办理入会手续后，可以实现独幽城免费通行，提高了集疏港效率。但是由于部分司机不遵守规章制度，强行加塞撞杆，对于此种情况，通港公司给予车辆拉黑处理。车辆司机需到通港公司办理缴费手续后方可解除拉黑。
由于通港公司无法24小时值守，因此司机经常无法及时缴费。因此实现司机自动缴费功能，对提高集疏港效率、减轻人工工作量起着重要的推动作用.
