马道街 29 号民居建于 50 年代，由年轻时的李彩凤老人与其爱人从废弃的建筑框架基础上一砖一瓦精心修建而成，房屋建成后的半个多世纪里，老人一直生活在这里，从新婚燕尔到四世同堂，马道街 29 号历经了岁月的洗礼和时代的变迁。
2018 年，在小西湖片区更新改造计划中，经得李彩凤老人及家属同意，在不改变建筑基本样貌的情况下，对房屋结构进行了加固，原有破损的建筑得到了妥善修复，原本老旧的房屋获得新生和再利用。
如今马道街 29 号被改造成为保留城南民居特色的咖啡馆面向公众开放，并利用 AR 数字科技方式保留、再现和活化城南传统民居的建筑与人文历史，共同邀请大家一起品味小西湖那些岁月磨灭不去的时光记忆。
