《魔幻异世转生模拟器》是一款Roguelike人生模拟文字冒险游戏。在游戏中，玩家可以体验不同的魔幻异世人生，并且通过不同的天赋属性来丰富异世的冒险旅程。
进入转生之前，玩家可根据自己的需要选择最少三条天赋，并且分配20点基础属性点给力量、智慧、体质、家庭四个基础属性。每个属性数值的高低，会在游戏中得到不同的发展。以四个基本属性为依托开展剧情，为玩家的剧情属性：等级、敏捷、魅力，提供剧情来源。属性值越高，所触发的剧情就会越精彩。
同时魔法世界还加入了体力玩法，玩家每一年都会获得100点体力，当到达不同小岛或大陆的时候，玩家经历的剧情会消耗对应体力值，直至体力消耗完全，当年的剧情结束进入下一年。体力值的加入让玩家能够更加真实的体验到魔幻的的历练。
每一局游戏的结束，将会回馈给玩家对应的元灵点数，用来升级玩家的灵魂，灵魂每升一级，可获得一点可分配的属性点，玩家可将属性点永久分配给四项基本属性。使玩家的每一剧游戏成果变得可视化，每一次的转生不在是一成不变。
