“太极拳”已列入世界非物质文化遗产。叶氏太极拳也是太极拳的一种。为了建设2022年度上海高校市级重点课程建设“影视动作技能虚拟仿真”系列课程内容，依托“基础实践（3）”和“影视动作技能虚拟仿真”课程来培养数字媒体技术和表演专业学生，同时也为了叶氏太极拳更快走进百姓生活，方便有兴趣的市民自主开展体验修习，上海大学与叶氏太极传人合作，出品“智能叶氏太极拳”交互影像艺术作品，作品由上海大学上海电影学院、上海大学上海美术学院学生团队联合创作，共同探索非遗项目数字化传承，推动叶氏太极拳的数字化、网络化、虚拟化发展。
