火红信使是一款可以把文本消息编码成为二维码图片、通过调用系统分享发送给您的实际好友（例如微信好友、QQ好友、钉钉好友等）、您的好友收到图片后，再使用该款APP扫码解码即可还原为文本消息的APP。该APP同时还具有虚拟好友录、虚拟会话记录和名片卡的管理功能。使用二维码的好处就是方便存储（比如可以打印出来）和交换，该二维码使用protobuf和BASE64编码，有一定的保密功能。
该APP还可以自己给自己发送二维码图片，把敏感信息（例如银行卡账号和密码、VPN登录账号和密码、数据库登录账号密码等）编码成为二维码，打印出来，存放到保险柜，能起到防盗的效果。
