■ Story

In ancient times, a natural disaster brought the Sun from high in the Sky to the depths of the Ocean, allowing a mysterious dark fog to blanket the World.

Simultaneously, Colossi, beings that were revered by descendants, roamed the lands for the very first time.

These Colossi, which emit the sparks of light that disperse the black fog, bring the only hope to mankind.

Thousands of years later, humanity has long grown accustomed to following in the footsteps of these revered beings as they travel through the black fog.

However, just as how the Sun was mysteriously brought down from the Sky, these Colossi have also began to fall mysteriously...

Terrence, a courier whom was expelled by the Church, has learned that his long estranged wife Teresa, may have some connection to the recent fall of the Colossi.

Setting forth on a journey filled with anguish, deception and possible redemption, Terrence seeks to find his wife and the truth behind their World.

Good game, just needs more support

EthanMunashe on

Good game overall. Uninstalled the game but lost all of my progress

I feel bad for only paying £5 for this.

This game is fantastic and is definitely a nice juxtaposition to the slop of this app store. Playing a game like this on a phone is a crazy concept to me because this is the most advanced experience ive ever had! It’s challenging but not unfair, calling the normal difficulty “normal” is a bit of an understatement. Its fun and rewarding with a lot of different abilities and skills to learn. All of the features are introduced naturally and smoothly without having massive amounts of information dumped on the player at once. My only criticism is that I often get a bit lost. I think a minimap would ruin the UI of the game and having a separate map menu would disrupt gameplay too much so I think that in each area you can find a “map piece” which will reveal a small area, this means that if a player gets lost they know that they can go out of their way to seek this item that will guide them.

Amazing game

Sermette on

I’m on my 4th play-through. Pascal’s Wager is an amazing game, love every part of it. However, synchronising subtitles with dialogues would make the whole experience so much better, especially for new players. Adding an optional mini-map, or a full map of the area would be great. Aside from that, the decision to add Mouse & Keyboard support was terrific! And the new content really keeps the gameplay fresh. GG! I’m playing on iPhone SE 2020 with Razer Kishi and on iPad 9th Gen with K&M. Everything runs smooth on Extreme Settings.

Quenches the dark souls thirst.

Ricky Joseph Taylor on

Yes this game is a replica/take of the dark souls series. But wow, it does it well and makes it it’s own. I downloaded this when it first came out, but did again recently. It still feels as fresh as it did the first time i played. I hope there’s a sequel in the works. Change of weapons would be nice, like finding new ones and switch them when you want at the alters. And being to upgrade them also. I like the features in here like equipping items to give you extra damage etc but i feel like weapon variants/changes with their own unique style and play would have REALLY made this even greater. Simply the best game on iOS I’ve ever played. Feels like souls, plays like souls, but has it’s own soul. Well done.

Not quite 120hz

ByronHinson on

Enjoying the game so far. Especially with the new update for iPhone 13 pro devices. It’s a little up and down performance wise though. Start of the game is very smooth but at times it starts to drop below 60fps and becomes very juddery. Also hard to know the right graphic mode for the game when it says Ultra and then “iPhone 11” as an option!

Dear me, the dialog and voice acting is awful

Daddy Dan G on

the dialogue is cringy and game feels very basic like a PC RPG from the 1990’s. Not impressed, how do I get a refund please ?

Waste of money. Crashes on opening screen every time.

Refund requested.

Dark Souls on the go

mokap1471 on

I have only been playing this game for 20 mins and it reminds me of Dark Souls and I love it, the controls are easy once you get the hang of it and the gameplay is smooth and finally the voice acting is top notch.

Dark Souls on Mobile! :O

Jeff D.C on

Literally one of, if not, the best dark souls like game on mobile. The story is decent, atmosphere fantastic, graphics are top notch for a mobile game and the gameplay is almost perfect! The controls are great and doesn’t clutter the screen. The gameplay is extremely smooth and simple to learn but as you know from dark souls, simple ain’t always easy. Throughout the game you unlock different characters with completely different play styles to keep things fresh if you wanna change it up. New game + is supported and this game is genuinely one of the best, well polished games you can get on mobile. Highly recommend! I play on the iPhone XR btw. Also to those complaining it’s too hard or it has no map... that’s the point... The game is meant to challenge you and it’s a real, ‘game game’. I wish it was harder to be honest. It’s a shame you guys really dunno what hard and lack of map awareness is :) Devs, any plans on a sequel or more dlc? I’ve happily bought everything and for such a good price as well. You guys really deserve all the praise and kudos for this amazing mobile game!

Good game but touchscreen controls a problem

Ox Kong on

Enjoying the game but the Maddened Ascetic is too difficult to beat in Normal mode on iOS touchscreen controls with level 1 power-ups available. Character moves just a bit too slowly and no margin for error at all against that enemy, which is tough with touchscreen controls. Given up.
