邱志杰的身份多元，创作媒介多样，从早期横跨诸多领域的艺术创作实践，到其后的策展与教育实践，其艺术家、理论家、教育家、策展人这一系列身份在其以地图为形式的创作中最终融会贯通。APP标题“寰宇全图”源于中世纪拉丁语对世界地图的总称。作为博采众长的地图绘制者，地图在邱志杰近十年来的艺术实践中承载了多重功能：它既是自我意识、工作框架、展览计划、思想交流、政治拓扑，也承担了历史文化研究提纲挈领之功能。2020年邱志杰将AR技术与其长期创作的“寰宇全图”系列结合，形成本App。
