Description

Attention: This app can only read banknote images, and is not equipped with functions for authenticating banknotes.
This application is developed to assist the visually impaired in distinguishing the Hong Kong dollar notes in circulation.
All you have to do is point the phone camera at the banknote and keep it at a certain distance. The application reads the value of the banknote by voice.
There is also vibration feedback. One to three short vibrations represent $10, $20, and $50, respectively; one to three longer vibrations represent $100, $500, and $1,000.
This app is developed by Barrier Free Access (HK) Limited, a Wholly-owned Subsidiary Of The Hong Kong Society For The Blind with an aim to improve the independence and equal participation of the visually impaired in community activities in Hong Kong
