该应用主要包括了常见危重病症以及呼吸、心血管、消化、泌尿等系统常见病的处方，共分20类，涵盖临床常见疾病。对每一种疾病分设“疾病概要”、“治疗原则”、“推荐处方”及“注意事项”四大项目进行了介绍，其中“推荐处方”是此应用的重点内容，根据每种疾病的不同程度或不同症状给出不同的推荐处方。每个处方具有简明扼要、实用性强、查阅方便等特点。并能为临床医师、药师提供“简明、有效、合理”的治疗方案。
