Settings bypass
Love this app and it is AMAZING. BUT there is one bypass through the settings that I don’t like. I watched the video explaining how to block settings through shortcuts but it is a slow transition and allows somebody to use the settings before it switches. If you can find a more effective way to block the screen times part of the settings (instantly blocks not transferring you to another app) then the app would be amazing. I hope you can find a way to take this advice on board and I would love to hear something back from the AppBlock team.
Really useful for those who struggle with screen time
I would say it is worth paying for the app as, when using the right features, it genuinely does block all social media with no way to bypass it. It’s what’s helped me reduce screen time
Phone glitches
Uninstalled the app yet still the ad block screen will display over some apps and websites effectively banning their use
Keeps me off socials
Love this app. I really needed it. I now block out social media for those times I need to work. The strict mode is A1!
New app blocker
It’s terrible. So easy to bypass. What’s the point. Don’t buy it.
Safari keyword no longer works
Used to be good but no longer blocks keywords in safari. Says you change settings in extensions but AppBlock doesn’t appear here for me. No response from customer service. Won’t be renewing.
