Apple Knight 2

What is in this sequel so far is great; the combat system with parrying, platforming, effects, bosses, and everything else has been vastly improved upon from the first game. I've beaten the game and I'm working on the new difficulties and I can safely say it's one of the best mobile games I've played. There are no forced ads, AT ALL, which is incredible for a game in 2023/2024; I cannot praise this enough. I also enjoy the new music and it's a nice change of pace from the original game (although it could use some more variety). There are a few things missing from the original game as well though that need to be mentioned. This includes quests, the female player model, and the endless mode. All bugs that I experienced were fixed! Great work devs! I've changed my review to 5 stars :)

I really enjoy this game, but I find it difficult to navigate on the screen due to all the top hot bars. I wish there was a feature to adjust the size of everything on the screen, not just the jumping and control buttons, especially because I have a smaller device.

I want to thank the creators for a great sequel game, I’ve already flown through both games and can’t wait for the 4-10+ updates! Every crevice of each map had me guessing for secret chest areas in the most ludicrous of places 😂 and the enemies were sufficiently challenging to keep me humble. I liked the inclusion of extra fight arenas to AK2 to make the levels slower to play through, and thought armor (etc.) upgrades was an effective way to make players farm for coins. I want to give this sequel a 5-star, but I just have a few suggestions that I think would really take this sequel to the next level (no pun intended) and earn it that top-tier rating I’m shooting for: 1) Please bring back the original key features! The first game made an effective use of keys/locked doors, portals, Garraldin’s reward rooms, and hidden chest areas to make the play-through more interesting; for this reason, the first Apple Knight is an ADVENTURE game. It tells a story, and players like me are saddled with helping Garraldin to make the ending a good one by plaything through. However, AK2 is an ACTION game that, while it uses portals and secret chest areas, does not have any of the other features I mentioned. I think this slight change in details is what makes the first game better than the sequel; it’s just more diverse and interesting in terms of content. 2) Bring back OG character effects! I immediately noticed upon opening AK2 that there is no male/female character option available like the first game (not a high-stakes loss, but I definitely miss having the option), and that weapons, even with their lvl 1-10 upgrade capacities, don’t have abilities (e.g., fire blade casts triple fireballs, ice sword casts ice, etc.). I also noticed that you can no longer aim throwavle items like in the first game, which requires player skill and patience that makes the game more interactive and personal. I was also looking forward to seeing how the newer weapons would be unique to the gameplay, but was disappointed to see that they only granted a small amount of extra damage, crit, etc. I’d love to see the next updates fix these discrepancies. 3) THE JOYSTICK TOGGLE BUG!!! If I only had one real “issue” with the game, it would be the change in joystick toggling. I have to constantly reset my controller settings to the arrow buttons upon entering a new level, and don’t particularly like having to move the interaction (attack/dash/throw/jump) buttons when the OG controls were much e
