Aquarium Manager FAQ
Is Aquarium Manager free?
Yes, Aquarium Manager is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Aquarium Manager legit?
🤔 The Aquarium Manager app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I love this app. I use it for my aquariums (obviously) but I also use it to keep track of my bird’s weight and other changes like molts and hormonal changes.
That’s the only thing I wish this app had was a bit more variety.
I’d love for it to expand one day and include all sorts of pets to keep track of. (Like birds, lizards, dogs, cats)
But I can’t really explain how useful this app is, you just have to give it a try.
Really enjoying keeping my reef tank organized
I wish I would have found this app when I first started my saltwater aquarium. I love being able to track all the purchases for it (didn’t realize I spent so much. Ha ha) I’ve tracked all the equipment, fish, corals, etc. when I purchased them, how much the cost and then it automatically tracks how long they’ve been alive in your tank.
I love the ability to track water parameters and see trends.
I will likely pay for the PRO version, but I’d like to see the option to change plants for corals and be a little more saltwater friendly.
Thanks for putting this together. You are doing an awesome job!
Nice app, beware however if it crashes it deleted your day
Just had my app crash after not opening it for many months, all my info was deleted. I enjoyed using it while it worked but not worth tracking if things can get deleted just like that
Good for what I need
This app is a nice app for a aquarium hobbyist like me. I am able to set up each of my tanks individually and add what fish and plants are in each tank. There is a place to add price paid for the fish as well as date of birth and a personal photo option. I can record the water parameters, events such as water change, filter change, additives added to the tank. I can then take a look back at these events and analyze the data. I paid the $3.99 to get the ad free version that gives unlimited event types and is ad free. I would have given 5 stars but the encyclopedia of fish is a little lacking. I would also like to be able to add to the encyclopedia to include any fish that haven’t been recorded. If this is already possible I don’t know how to do it. Overall this is an excellent fit for my needs!
Muy útil
Es una muy buena app, te ayuda a llevar registros de tus acuarios, desde toda la química del agua, litros del tanque, peces plantas, equipos y más.
Best tank tracker I found
Awesome app. Love it for my shrimp!
Wonderful App!
Very user friendly and feature rich.
Worked for a month then deleted everything
Worked for a month with only a few glitches that I could overlook (ex. not showing fish/plant count on main page for one tank). I really liked being able to track parameters for my three tanks and it was easy to use. But then I opened the app to update parameters and everything was deleted like I’d never used the app before. I’d spent a lot of time listing my stocking, plants, and equipment in the app for each tank but now it’s all gone. Glad I hadn’t bought anything for the app. Not worth using if I need to make backup logs elsewhere.
Does all I need it to do
I've been using the app for a year or two. Perfect for tracking the aquarium info I care about. And when I needed something else, the developer was responsive and soon added the new parameters. I used it for free for quite a while, and the features I need were never limited or anything. Eventually paid for the app, because it's more useful than a spreadsheet, and it's faster to log my data without pausing for the [reasonable number of] interstitial ads. All in all, I'm still a fan. It's the only aquarium app I have, and I recommend it.
Beware!
Once paying for this app you get bombarded with constant ads. You can pay another four dollars to get rid of the ads, so I did. See I like the concept of this app but there are major bugs to be worked out especially for being customers. After paying the second fee, I go to enter my materials, and the app crashes and everything you just entered gets deleted. I’ve tried multiple times until I gave up. And the fish encyclopedia I don’t even know what’s going on with it but I see nothing familiar is it English? I wanted to write a“Ticket“ under the settings and after typing it out it says “sorry invalid address”
