I’ve read the developer’s feedback on the same problem from almost a year ago and was so disappointed that the issue has not been solved at all. The news are mostly sourced from Chinese funded media notorious for their obvious opposition to civil rights and basic respect for public figures (say you only wanna read about entertainment, no politics involved whatsoever, all you get is slut/fat/age shaming etc). The UI is really nice, so it’s a genuine letdown that this app uses based sources only.

仲好意思話連結世界，全部source 都係果幾間香港媒體，要睇洗用呢個App咩:(

老實，個App要攞咁多privacy right都已給經鬼鬼地。好啦，見呀Sum（自稱PM）話個App係「全香港人團隊嘅心血結晶」就姑且down個App睇睇。入到去果然啲recommendations外國媒體佔嘅比重低得可憐，中哂呀Sum回應嗰個commenter所講嘅嘢。 去埋個App第一個tab「主題」度睇，有個功能「以10倍速觀看視頻」。我就死心了。如果呀Sum話自己嘅團隊係全香港人，都應該係「新香港人」。見微知著，「真香港人」真係好難會想用呢個名詞。我希望呀Sum唔好話係團隊內嘅同事偶然嘅失誤，俾啲承擔，因為一個咁當眼嘅功能當中嘅字眼實在唔太可能無Senior approve過。 又或者我唔應該對佢嘅嘅Senior期望太多，呀Sum係之前嘅comments入面都已經叫人「反䜋」意見俾佢。 有時啲嘢，真係要小心啲。有啲嘢，近不得。

The newsfeed contains unreliable news sources (unscientific opinions on vaccines). Shouldn't these sources be filtered before publishing?
