Description

ARE YOU A BUCKET?" Play 1-on-1 in the most game realistic and challenging format ever created for the game of basketball.
"Are You a Bucket?" is an engaging and competitive 1-on-1 app that challenges player skills, IQ, and shot making ability through realistic constraints, bonuses and penalties. If you’re going to play 1-on-1, most high level players will tell you to play with a dribble limit. Keep it real, in order to work on efficiency, discipline, and creativity. But let’s face it. When the defender knows the script, they can sit on your last dribble, taking away from the game’s authenticity. But with “Are You a Bucket”, each card holds a unique challenge, guiding you through different moves and shot options. The "And 1" cards offer an exciting opportunity - score with the recommended move to earn a free throw for an additional point. And raise the stakes when a card reveals a "Pushups" penalty, where the unfortunate loser of that possession does 5-10 pushups.
Though many cards offer tips and suggestions, remember, they're not mandatory. The fun lies in creatively answering the question posed by the card. Offensive players draw cards in secret, keeping the defense guessing their next move. Stay on offense if you score and be strategic, as only one shot per possession is allowed.
The game's objective is to be the first to reach fifteen points, which can be earned through twos and threes. Keep an eye on those free throws, worth one point each, and maintain fairness by drawing a new card in case of disputes over fouls. Turnovers can occur if players attempt shots outside the constraints of a chosen card.
The court's scoring areas - Elbow, Baseline, Layup/Paint, and Three Pointer - aren't precise spots but rather general areas to aim for. Each card designates where a player must start, so players should always "check" before each possession. Get ready to compete, strategize, and enjoy an interactive and dynamic basketball-inspired 1-on-1 experience with "Are You a Bucket?"
