I wanted to watch a short I had heard of, and saw that you could sign up for free- great! Once I downloaded the app it promoted me to start a free trial, after which it’s £6 per month. To cancel I had to go into the App Store and unsubscribe to avoid being charged, and to delete the account there is another purposefully confusing process. A shame because I’m sure the content is great, but this whole subscription trickery business really puts me off.

I first downloaded this app as suggested by a friend and seeing as I’m a film student, it’s helping tremendously. Other than the various short film genres available that I can enjoy, I’m also able to watch and learn from others and get inspired. It also helps so much that it’s a free app!

I absolutely love this app, it’s amazing having so many short films available all in one space, it makes it really easy to discover new films and there’s so much to watch. The playlists are really cool too and I love that the films range from 3-24 minutes!
