Catch up with the competition

It takes a very long time to file a flight plan with all the syncing. Flight planning should be done in the app and not on the website. It’s time you moved into the 21st century. I’m trying to get the company to move over to ForeFlight which is much easier and more user friendly.

Needs in app flight planning

Jeffan on

Flight planning and filing takes soooo long to do with ARINC. I wish they would catch up with the others. I can plan a flight and file a flight plan in ForeFlight in a matter of a few minutes. With ARINC, the same process takes more than 20 minutes! Even with the fast Internet service, the screen refresh speeds are incredibly slow. You have to keep clicking on different buttons to update the flight plan. Other apps automatically update the flight plan when changes are made in just a second or two. It is not user-friendly at all. The route planning and selection is horrible. Sometime it files a different cruise altitude than I requested. And then all their services cost so much more than other apps.

Disappointing

The app running on iPad 2 or 4 requires significantly long WiFi connections every single day to keep everything current. I devote 10-15 minutes every single morning on the road updating the app. It seems to attempt to buffer downloads but cannot be trusted to do so as it chokes itself to a standstill while attempting to download multiple files at a time. Managing the downloads manually is not only absurdly time-consuming but not not easy as the app defaults back to its “auto” mode. If it were not for APG running inside the app, I would not use it at all.

This app keeps getting better and better. Thanks for the third party flight plan support for NAT crossings.

Great app

I noticed the reviews are extremely dated....truth is a lot of improvements have occurred and continue to occur. Nice organized lay out...easy to read. In app flight planning would be nice and would reduce flight planning workload.

App won’t launch after update.

Great, after they demand we update the app it will no longer open on the iPad.

Glitchy update

Newest update won’t download a filed flight plan I filed an ARINC Direct website. My Documents won’t complete its download either.

In app flight planning

This is just an antiquated reader. Where is in app flight planning? All your competition has it. Do better.

Needs just a little improvement

Oileda1 on

Enjoy using this app but would like to see improvement in 2 areas. First it needs a night time mode. Screen is to bright at night. Secondly I wish that there was away to organize the approach plates so that after you have book marked the plates you like you could then just swipe through them instead of having to close out one and re open another. Other than that nice product
