Army Defence combines the best elements of traditional tower defense games with intuitive gameplay and a host of original features:
• Time spent in reconnaissance: Before the battle begins, you have a little time to build up your defenses, with a variety of artillery posts, sniper towers, mines and other objects to be placed and upgraded. Scout the terrain, spend your resources wisely, and keep an eye on the clock.
• Pick your hill: In this gripping action game, it’s your tiny squad against a whole army of invaders, so deploy your troops carefully to minimize their exposure to incoming fire. And when the action begins, be sure to keep moving!
• Ride the waves: Wait for the enemy to arrive or start the action yourself. Each battle is divided into waves, and each wave is going to be even tougher than the last. Fight off a whole army of paratroopers, snipers, and heavy infantry, with air support and a huge range of armored vehicles. Who knows what the next wave will bring?
• Spoils of war: Between the waves, make sure to take a thorough look around the area – you’ll be surprised at all the goodies you can find, but unsurprisingly, you may have to fight for them.

Great Game - shocking ads
This is genuinely one of the best TD games I’ve ever played, but:
1) I personally despise ads that you’re forced to watch, this game makes you watch a lot of ads.
2) I don’t mind a game making it so you can watch ads to get an upgrade, or a coin boost, to make the game a little easier, but this one makes you have to watch more ads to be able to complete a level, and then you’re forced to watch an ad after you complete that level. The ‘unforced’ ads are still basically forced, and then you have the real forced ads. It’s a real shame.
Gameplay is sooo good, ads make it unplayable. Will come back if they make ad-free version £1 or less. Hmu when that happens, devs.

Update:
If anyone is interested there is no in game sound but I have found that ads sometimes stay running in background memory even though their window has gone and it’s the ad audio that comes through as choppy music sounds occasionally! You end up rebooting your device. Sorted! Deleted!
Buggy and boring. Portrait mode only, laggy, ads freeze game and then you add in poor movement control. Intermittent or no audio much of the time. Complete waste of time downloading. Deleting next after this review. Can’t work with a grunt that runs around like a headless chicken into trees. And yes you can tell the developers take player feedback onboard, ha ha ha, joke. They don’t even bother to respond to the reviews. I can’t see any responses…. Can you! Oh! And compatible with iPad Air and latest iPadOS version… Nah, not from my perspective! Slow loading, buffering and choppy graphics. Back to the drawing boards guys, or should that be the advertisement board!
