Not what I expected, and it takes a second to get the hang of, but it’s really fun and interesting. Give it a chance.
All my 5+ star pulls have been dudes.
On the surface this *seems* like a great game. At first it even is fun. It has a unique concept that if it had been done right, COULD have made for a great game. But it wasn't done right, and at this point I'm astonished the game was released in such a state. CONS 1. Some of the attacks in this game have barely any indicator / barely any time to react to them when you do notice them. Stuff like an umbrella that if it hooks you, you get stunned and are forced to take damage since you can't move out of the way of the attack anymore (and the top 3 boxes force you to take damage too if you were there but weren't hooked), or an attack where you have to get into the boxes fast enough to NOT take damage (except the time to move into them is far too short.) You have to already know beforehand where you're supposed to be moving to if you have any shot of getting in the safety zone in time. 2. You're going to get screwed by RNG... a lot. If you're a completionist, don't bother playing this game because you have to complete a level without getting hit every single time if you want all the stars. And that gets real frustratingly old, real fast. 3. The game drops new mechanics on you without warning. If there was any sort of tutorial on that attack prior, I wouldn't have an issue with that. But suddenly I'm getting hit by an attack that I had no prior knowledge of because they were too lazy to program a tutorial for whenever a player encounters a mechanic for the new time. 4. The game prioritizes making sure you know what an efficient moveset is for your characters, and then proceeds to occasionally force you to do levels with characters you both don't even own and have a terribly optimized moveset. They're awful. Seriously. PROS 1. You can get hit by Truck-kun and die instantly, ending your pointless misery and suffering. TL;DR Ignore all good reviews and skip this game unless you're a glutton for punishment.
Cracked teambuilding
The use of A.I. generated character designs is an interesting take on a gacha game and it makes it a fun experience to pull for characters you may not have seen before. The story and writing is also very playfully done and I like how they went about using a text log to interpret the story. It fits in well with a lot of the code / coding based theme. :)
Hands down one of the more mechanically fun gacha games. The banners, while having somewhat terrible rates, also have a pretty cool feature - you can select which units are in your draw pool each week. Overall really enjoying the game, anyone curious about it should definitely give it a shot, spend some time to figure out the dance mechanics, and see what you think.
i rlly enjoy all the characters and designs although the game play is a little clunky
Like others, game hung indefinitely while 'checking for updates', though unlike others a reinstall to give it a second chance also hung. For a game (client?) that is over a half-gig download, what is it doing self-checking for updates in the first place, if in fact that is what it is doing, and insisting on reliable internet to function. Very sketchy.
The only bad part about this game is the game update bug where you seem to get stuck. Other then that, great idea, great gameplay, great music. It’s fantastic
